Reminded me of what Ajahn Brahm said in one of his talks, which is perfect for when one feels remorse/regret. He suggests applying the AFL code (Acknowledge-your mistake or transgression, Forgive-yourself, and Learn). 🙂
Thats because Ajahn Brahm’s AFL is basically a modern version of what I explained from the suttas :). They are basically one in the same, and either is a very good method for these kinds of situations.
